In October 2017, The MAO Training orchestra, augmented by members of the Main Orchestra, took part in a “Music Marathon” around Great Western Hospital in Swindon, to raise money for the Brighter Futures Radiotherapy Appeal. 

 

MAO joined several other groups of local musicians and solo players in a rota to create 24 hours of continuous music-making.
